We're proud to announce that our latest range of glasses has now arrived. Our latest range includes plastic champagne glasses, plastic martini glasses and a brand new highball tumbler.
These glasses, in addition to our existing range, are ideal for a variety of uses. The martini glass is particularly popular amongst trendy bars and clubs seeking a sophisticated glass that is safer than traditional glass but doesn't compromise on quality and style. James Bond himself would be happy drinking from our martini glass.
The plastic highball tumbler is designed to complement our existing range of tumblers. Whilst our existing range features straight-sided tumblers, our latest tumbler has indented sides that are commonly found on glasses in bars and clubs throughout Australia. The glass is extremely solid in the hand and would easily withstand the rigours of Australia's nightlife.
Our latest plastic champagne glass is popular amongst a variety of venues. Whether you own a large nightclub, small bar, boat, pool or want some unbreakable glasses at home, our champagne glasses will help you celebrate life's special moments in style.
For more information on any of our glasses, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.
Swish Plastic is proud to announce several new additions to our range of unbreakable polycarbonate glassware. A recent surge in the popularity of certain styles of glasses, particularly our unbreakable wine glasses and unbreakable shot glasses, has enabled us to add to our already extensive range. Stay tuned for more news on our latest products; they'll be coming your way shortly!

A ban on serving alcohol in glasses or stubbies late at night at WA licensed premises has received key support after statistics showed three-quarters of glass-related assaults happened after 11.30pm.
Australian Medical Association WA president Dave Mountain, Police Commissioner Karl O'Callaghan and National Drug Research Institute director Steve Allsop agreed yesterday the curfew, similar to that in Sydney, could help curtail glassings.
Dr Mountain said he had seen a number of terrible injuries caused by glassings and believed serving drinks from plastic glasses could prevent them.
A teenager is nursing facial wounds after being slashed with polycarbonate drinkware at the Leopold Hotel in Bicton. The 19-year old victim sustained a gash above his left eye and was taken to Fremantle Hospital where the wounds were stitched.
According to a recent survey conducted by HBF, 76% of the respondents aged between 18-30 support pubs, clubs and bars serving drinks in plastic glasses. The so called 'iGeneration' wants to be able to go out and enjoy themselves without the threat of serious injury caused by broken glass or an unprovoked glassing attack.
Swish Plastic is a new Perth-based company with the goal of providing Australia’s hospitality industries with the finest range of polycarbonate drink ware available. A spokesperson for Swish Plastic explains:
"Polycarbonate is close to identical to traditional glass. We have found a range of polycarbonate drinkware elegantly shaped and with a weight and look that could easily be mistaken for actual glassware."
The plastic used in the glasses is called polycarbonate. This material is dishwasher safe, shatter proof and best of all: virtually unbreakable.
Swish Plastic states that polycarbonate drinkware has been popular at bars and clubs in Europe for a couple of years and that the attitude towards plastic glasses has not been as negative as some people seem to think.
"Young people are much more adaptable and open-minded about plastic drinkware. Most people go out to enjoy themselves, drink and have fun. If they can drink from a high quality glass that looks like real glass yet it isn’t, they’re not going to mind."
Swish Plastic has teamed up with Cruisen cocktails at the 2011 WA Hospitality Expo to showcase its full range of polycarbonate glassware. The event was a great success for both parties as the liquor and hospitality industries came together to see the best of what Western Australia has to offer. Pictures of the event are coming soon.
